The only really noteworthy part is the Divx 6.6 w/VDub encoding test. With only a 12% memory increase & 24% cpu speed increase, the new quadcore's encoding rate is more than double that of Intel's current quadcore. Apparently this is all due to handcoded SSE4 optimizations on the part of the Divx team.
So here's my shout out to all the hobbyist & commercial encoding tool programmers who use this forum: Get cracking! :D
