I want to convert an MPEG file I have on my HD. I have downloaded and installed the Koepi.org codec, and I can now launch a program to configure the encoder, and one to configure the decoder, but I seem to be missing a program to open the file, run the encoder, and write the output file. I've searched all over the Xvid.org website but can't seem to figure this out. What obvious thing am I overlooking?

Hi!I seem to be missing a program to open the file, run the encoder, and write the output file...What obvious thing am I overlooking? You've answered your own question ;>} From the postings at this forum, I'd guess that the most frequently used program, suite, or GUI for conversions to XviD is "AutoGK".

Other possibilities are VirtualDub/MOD, MPEGMediator (my personal favorite) and a whole bunch more...
