I'm using PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra Delux to play HDTV TS files but if I go into video settings, the Video Acceleration checkbox is grayed out. I have an nVidia 7800Gt video card with the latest drivers and video acceleration is available if I am playing an HD DVD movie. Is there any to get use that option for regular TS files? I am running Vista.

i think you need to install nvidia puervideo (if you havent already) for it to do hardware/video acceleration

Nah, PDVD can do hardware acceleration on MPEG2 - Nvidia licenced purevideo to them, so it's basically the same as the NVidia decoder now.

PowerDVD did hardware mpeg2 acceleration since before nvidia started to make their own mpeg2 decoder and sell it under the name "Purevideo".
