I am trying to play EVO files of Chronicles of Riddick using PowerDVD 7.3. I'm running Intel Core 2 2.4 and Nvidia 7950 with HDCP support. I have 2GB DDR2 800mhz ram.
It will start playing the EVO file fine AT FIRST; but if I stop play or it gets stopped for any reason, it can not be restarted with a fresh PC boot. This is the error from my event log when it crashes on any attempt at replay.
Faulting application powerdvd.exe, version 7.0.2602.0, faulting module hddvdnavi.dll, version 1.0.0.203, fault address 0x0003ea70.
I am using the VGA output into a Sony LCD.
Also, I dont understand why the PowerDVD interface says 7.3, but if I check About I get 7.2(Ultra)- is that 7.3?
Thanks,
Ken
