or SegmentS, if you use multiple encoder processes.

Or maybe a PAUSE button TOO?

Sometimes I schedule several projects, and then, hours later, I need to use my PC, I would just like to pause DVD-RB-PRO, use my PC, then CONTINUE the DVD-RB-PRO projects.

THANKS!:thanks:

Have you considered running the projects in lower priority? See the settings menu for Encoder Priority and set to Idle.

If you are using CCE and run in the 'idle priority' it doesn't slow down the encoding that much but does make your computer useable again

Shame you can't force CCE to stop popping up that very annoying encoding progress window, even when set as a background task, etc, etc. I don't think there is a way to stop it, its been mentioned on here before

Also, there is a 'pause' button in a way. Just click the 'abort' button and you'll get a confirmation message, and encoding is then stopped. Just leave that alone and just press 'no' when you are ready to start encoding again

Just leave that alone and just press 'no' when you are ready to start encoding againYou'll have to switch to three-click mode and select "REBUILD" upon restarting. Then you'll be asked whether to start over or resume where you left off.

Use CCE with ECLCCE, then it will minimize to tray and never popup. The only thing you will see is the small icon will disapeare, then reapeare after each segment..

^ Will this work with Version 2.70.02.10?

Just checked ECLCCE, according to the last update, he stopped any further updates due to other commitments, and the last version supported upto CCE-SP 2.67.00.27

So I'm assuming it won't support the latest version, plus what about CCE SP2

I'll have a play and see what happens with my next encode, as I use CCE SP2 and see if it stop the annoying pop-up window. Have they never heard of making applications run totally in the background

No, just tried ECLCCE with CCE SP 2.70.02.12 and it popped up its not supported, also tried with CCE SP2 and that did nothing at all

So, its back to the annoying pop-up window until they decide to add proper background running
