Hi, I have .Mp4s, I want them in .avi containers
What would be the command line with mp4box to do this, or a gui that can do this with mp4box, or a differnt program that can do this.
Also, can you do this with VirtualDubMod and Avisynth? If so what would be an example script?
thanks in advance

well, there before i really answer this, i should know what you really need this conversion for. if you would just prefer to have avi's, then it is stupid, and you should not change them.
if however, you need them in avi to do other editing to them, then use AVISynth. it allows you to open a lot of different files and they will be faked as an avi-like file with the extension .avs. this is the best way to do this, but you can also do it with virtualdub(mod). just load up the file, and then create a frameserver, and make sure you save the fake file as a .avi not a .vdr if that is what you want.
good luck with your editing (if you not editing, then shame on you).

Actually I'm trying to get it in a container allowed for uploading on youtube...
Also another question if anybody can help:
I got a 117MB XviD file. I need it down to below 100MB, anyway to resize that and save as directshowsource or so? I tryed with avisynth and VDUBMOD but it comes out as a YV14
