Trapezoid Correction?

I have a video that has been telecined but is has a trapezoid distortion (also known as trapezium distortion or perspective distortion).

FWIW, the trapezoid it is exhibiting is fatter on the left hand side than the right, and has a slight bias to the top-right corner.

Are there any existing tools out there to correct it, or failing that, can anyone point me toward a method I could implement as an Avisynth plugin?

If you don't find what you're after, I might know just enough about the maths of perspective distortion to help you implement a plugin.

you may also use a ffdshow which had similar plugin executed in real time.
