hello!
I got a problem with a panorama dvd. its ntsc and hard telecined so ive used the usual ivtc in gknot. But checking the avs in vdub i see i got rid of the obvious interlaced frames (counting in gknot leaded me to think its 2:3 pulldown) but there some more hard-to-detect interlaced frames, like the source been from a bad master or something. http://www.wikiupload.com/download_page.php?id=122581. What can i do to remove these? I'm quite new to avs but would like to learn more and if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

actually studying the vob closer i've discovered that frames 182/183 427/428 672/673 917/918 and so on are interlaced. so it repeats every 244th frame. but what can i do with them?

TFM(pp=7).TDecimate() from TIVTC does a good job of quickly hiding the occasional combs that crop up. You might want to followup with Vinverse() to work away a few of the smaller combs that crop up around the video, mostly on the faces. All these can be downloaded from tritical's site.

tx alot foxy. That really helped me. That guy tritical (if he's a guy) is a genius. No combing anymore. However comparing with the old decomb function, tivtc produces a little bit more jagged edges. If u test on that clip ive posted u will c on the shoulders on the guy on the right its not as smooth as with old telecide, decimate parameters. But I'm contend with what i got. It's a small difference but it's there. Anyway tx a bunch
