nandub first pass: 2 simple questions

Do I have to load processing settings default.1st.pass.vcf and then press F8 or just only press F8 and nandub automaticaly loads needed processing settings for first pass?
Can I use Fast Recompress in first pass (filters are in avs file)?

question 1. just hit f8 and it automatically uses the settings from the first pass vcf.

question 2. You can use fast recompress as long as you have the modified version of Nandub that supports this. Otherwise, you'll get bit distribution errors.
