Hi!it's when i save it not saving as video file just a file.1) From the "File" dropdown menu, are you selecting "Save as .AVI" or something else?

2) What is the three letter extender of the saved file?

3) What is the filesize of the saved file?

Try opening the file with a Media Player, or check it with GSpot or MediaInfo.

file extension (or filename extension), that's what it is called :)
The last image here, "save as type" (*.avi)
avi = the extension of the file, eg. sample.avi

This is just too incomprehensible to help, but on the upside, it's too incomprehensible to strike. I think he/she is talking about downloading Virtualdub and other software, but I can't tell? Every request for clarification brings a new layer of obfuscation.

But then, I can't even guess why saving a new avi wouldn't list as a video, unless you're putting periods in the name.
