I appreciate the immediate response.

But is there a download available for the precompiled exe of mencoder on any of the sites with all the required dlls and the mandatory files.

Just wondering.. did you try to download and run the binary from one of the two mentioned sites? If not.. it might not hurt to try it - it might just do what you want. Looking at the first link, the library section looks more like libraries that you need if you want to recompile on your own.

The only dependency that my build should need would be pthreadgc2.dll, which is one directory back: http://esby.free.fr/CelticDruid/mirror/pthreadGC2.dll.7z
