divx player command line

I'm writing a gui for the mplayer (it seems a very common sports lately....) but, since I use also many divxformatted avi (a.k.a. .divx files) and I don't think that mplayer can manage such films, I'd like to use and configure the Divx Player (or directly the .dll) via command line. Does anybody know if there is some documentation about this?
