They were jpeg's, so to compare fairly I had to use jpeg's too.

It'd of been better if you've posted the links to the pictures instead of having them stretched this thread like this. Slimit 50 is a bit too strong imo, around 15-20 is enough. Also, seesaw would benefit better if you've increased the bias to around 90.

can u please post thumbnails, tht way it will help. Currently SS get overstretched over screen.

Query: I am not sure if LSF or Seesaw would work on MT?

I've added some pictures that used Terranigma's suggestions, and Leak's version of FFDshow.

Well, I'm impressed (but not blown away) by the HD-DVD samples.

I personally don't like your LSF / SeeSaw settings (too posterized for my eyes), and find Terranigma's settings to be more pleasing.

Still, not too shabby for a massive upconversion!

I wonder what the HD-DVD sources would look like when ran through LSF / SeeSaw at gentler settings :D

Nvidia Geforce 7900GTX with ForceWare 91.33 drivers

"ATI_and_nVidia_crush_highend_DVD_players"
Look at page 10, test 5.
Link (http://www.hardware.info/en-UK/articles/am9nY2pqZA/ATI_and_nVidia_crush__2000_DVD_players/)

I own a ATI x1300 so the pictures and the settings that used FFDshow used this card.
I got the pictures from the link above.

What's my opinion ?
I calibrated the FFDshow settings using the crossbar pattern.
I think the Nvidia detail picture is the sharpest.
I think the Seesaw Avisynth configuration denoises as well as the Nvidia card.
If the FFDshow settings were sharper it would compare equally to the nvidia detail picture, I've done this before in previous tests but in previous tests I didn't use the crossbar pattern to calibrate the sharpness.
If I make it as sharp as the Nvidia picture I get strong haloing on the Crossbar test pattern.

I posted jpg's because the link only provides a jpg of the nvidia.
So I had to use jpg to compare.
