Are you talking about a USB hard drive, a small thumb drive or a CD/DVD drive? If it's a CD/DVD drive, any good burning software will let you save an .iso file of a disk's contents. Creating a bootable drive on a thumb drive depends more on the contents than the format.

I am talking a thumb/flash drive....I have a secure thumb drive and I want to back up it to another thumb drive. Yes the new has to be "smart" drive in order to boot from it ect...but all I want to know is how to copy all the contents and the security from one flash/thumb drive to another..

Thanks!

Is there some reason you can't plug both in and copy the files using your file browser?

Well because it's secure flash drive there are hidden boot sectors on it..I can't just copy and paste.

I'd suggest you contact whomever created this secure flash drive and ask them how to copy it.
