Nero Recode 2 without installing Nero 7???

Hi, this is my first post here and it´s with a question that maybe sounds stupid....
I´m using Nero 6.6.1.5a (latest Nero 6 version) and i want to use the latest Nero Recode 2 version (2.5.2.0), but i DO NOT WANT/LIKE to install Nero 7 package...............How can i do that? Is there a way to use Nero Recode 2 as an stanalone program?.....it´s possible to extract NR2 from the Nero 7 package?
When u launch the Nero 7 installation, it´s says that it will remove all previous nero versions installed (so "bye bye Nero 6")..........and i really don´t like the Nero 7 package, its full of s....and let´s face it...NR2 it´s a 20mb program...i´m not planning to install 200mb to use it and screw my windows xp installation

I´m accepting any sugestions/comments and i apologize for my poor english.

do a custom install of nero7, install just what you want

Yeah, you can just install what you choose. But it most likely won't work if you plan to use latest (from Nero7) Recode and burning from 6.. So when installing Nero7, just choose burning and recode from "custom install". And similarly you can deselect audio/video file associations etc. so it shouldn't be very intruding.

I know that, but i´m asking if there is another way to "extract" NR2 from the Nero 7 package ;)

One thing which may be a solution for you (I haven't tested though) is to use Altiris Software Virtualization (http://www.altiris.com/Products/SoftwareVirtualizationSolution.aspx).
It's different from OS virtualization like VMware (check the site for more info). You should be able to download a free fully working personal edition from PC Magazine: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,1941342,00.asp

I haven't tested this with Nero so I can't guarantee it works.

BTW, maybe a little offtopic........i´ve been having a little problem with NR2....in the final movie in the standalone player, even if you enter to the language menu and select audio and subtitle, when you play the main movie, those audio/subs selected in the language menu doesn´t apply.........4ex. I selected AUDIO=Spanish and SUBS=Portuguese in the language menu, but when i play the movie, audio is in english and subs are english too......i have to change them using the buttons audio/subs in the remote control.
I´ve made 5 different movies and all shows the same problem, and when i tried the dvdshrink versions, this problem does not happen, all selection was OK.............it´s a bug in NR2?
