Can VirtualDub open and edit flv files?
I want to join 2 flv into one larger file.

I have read posts that says you can but they never say what you need to do this.
I have looked for a plugin but really have not come up with anything.

Maybe I am missing something here? Or is it that you have to convert the flv to something before you can open it?

Anyone have and answer or a pointer to where this explained?

VirtualDub itself is limited to AVI files.
Nevertheless you can frame-serve the FLV video into VirtualDub via AviSynth.

I think all you need a suitable DirectShow filter (e.g. Gabest' FLV filter) and a simple script like this:

DirectShowSource("C:\Path to Video\Video.flv")

There are several ways to edit flvs, and mulder just gave one, so I can only assume that your post is off-topic spam.

(Another method is to use ffmpeg to mux it to avi; as long as you have flv decoding enabled in ffdshow vfw, you can edit it to your heart's content in any avi editor, like virtualdub or premiere.)
