Would u tell me how i can get more sharpness on movie's pictures by using xvid decoder settings?

What's the influence of different deblocking settings on the picture?(Deblocking Y and UV,dering Y and UV)

Cause i don't want to use ffdshow.

Cause i don't want to use ffdshow.Ah. You want to cut wood, but don't want to use a saw ... interesting.

Very thanks for information.

You are so right about that ffdshow is a great tool.But,when i used the ffdshow decoding, I have seen in some movies which have been encoded by xvid code that some frames run slowly from time to time,

I have looked for it through searching page,unfortunately,i couldn't have found it.

If you're really paranoid. You can tell ffdshow to use the xvid codec to decode xvid files. Under codec settings in video decoder configuration, highlight xvid and set it to xvid instead of libavcodec. This is assuming you have the XviD decoder installed.

Yes,sure.I know that.But when i have tried it,i saw that the picture still sounds like decoded by libavcodec.I use the final release Xvid 1.1.2 VFW.I guess that ffdshow doesn't support VFW releases in this function.Do i need its dll form to enable this function?

I guess that i just found.It should be enough that xvidcore.dll file have been in system32 directory to enable xvid instead of libavcodec.
