help to use megui

because i'm new here,can anyone give me help to can use megui conveting my video to ipod

i have install everything profiles,codac,etc....

i am trying to convert an avi movie with 23.97 frame
and i can cut 500 frames from the file to can try it with the i tunes
so what i have to do give me steps to begin
i am not a experianc i am a user
