I'm not sure about other channels, but I've noticed extremely bad chroma on "Family" with Bell ExpressVu since mid-November 2006.
Here's a comparison between a year ago and now:

These are screenshots of the MPEG-2s extracted from my ExpressVu PVR which doesn't do any recompression of the stream.
As you can see, the luma is darker and duller but not too bad, but the chroma is just pathetic. It's blocky and blurry. It also appears to be smeared, particularly on vibrant reds, but I guess that's just an effect of the blockiness making it not align properly with the normal Y. I don't understand what could mess it up so badly...
Does anyone know of any way to fix this or clean it up?
