hi,

I am trying to backup a few dvds to x264 and having some weird results and was wondering if someone could shed some light on it for me.

I use dgindex to demux the video and audio, load the d2v file into megui, auto encode and off it goes.

The strange thing is that some film's audio is in sync and some aren't, how and why is my question.

I do the same procedure for all the films, eg matrix is fine, cars is out by 6-8 secs

How do i fix this, do i randomly guess the number to offset the audio encoding (for me the mux delay seems to do nothing so i use the delay in the audio encode)

Any help would be great

cheers

paul

There was a problem with a version of DGindex that had some trouble reporting audio delay, do you have an up to date version?
Also, make sure that your autoencode settings are in order.

i am using 1.4.9 beta14, is that ok or can you suggest another version

Please can you explain the auto encode options.

I have also now started doing the video and audio seperately and then trying the mp4 muxer but still have problems with the delay, any help would be appreciated

cheers
