Hello! :)

Im getting this unusual IMGBURN V2.2 and V2.3 error I've never seen before.
It appears at the end of burning process.

Popup window says:
synchronising cache failed
reason: internal target failure

Hit try again button and popup says:
synchronising cache failed
reason: incompatible medium installed

ImgBurn log

Tried lower burn speed with same result.
Always using Verbatim DVD-R (MCC 03RG20).
Odd thing is I can't find anything is wrong with burned DVD disc?
Disc plays fine on computer and standalone without any hickups?

Anyone seen this error before and what might be wrong?

regards

Assuming you've checked for firmware updates, you might just have a slightly dodgy batch of discs or your drive might be getting old. Try cleaning the lens and see if that improves things.

@LIGHTNING UK!

Thanks for your tips. Firmware is up-to-date but it is an old drive,
served me well through the years and many burns so I'll test
cleaning it. It's a new spindle of discs but disc out of same spindle
works without any error using a new LG-burner so probably
the old Sony from 2003 is dying on me...

So far it's done a damn good job, bought it 2003 and it has never
failed me, until now... Amazing the drop in prize on DVD-burners,
I payed 430 US$ in 2003... ughhh... Today a lot better and faster
high quality DL burner only costs 50-60 US$!

Thanks for a great program! :)
