MeGUI tooltips not working. Some help please.

MeGUI's tooltips used to work a few months ago but after a few auto updates of MeGUI they stopped working. i looked and the ContextHelp.xml file is there and in the settings area advanced tooltips is on. So now I'm scratching my head :D

Any thoughts on why it is not working? Is there an XP thing that might affect this or is it just an MeGUI thing?

no nothing. no tooltips are working anywhere in MeGUI.
very very strange because it used to work a few months ago.


UPDATE: After lots MORE google action i found out the reason why.

everything is working fine now. How that reg value was changed i have no idea.
Why it is global on/off and overrides APPS local setting is crazy as well. It should
only apply to the OS and Microsoft stuff IMHO but it turns them off ALMOST every
where. (taskbar still has them and a few apps i guess rolled their own which is why
i thought XP itself was good to go grrrrrr)
