Installed DivX 4.12, now can't seek

I installed the DivX 4.12 codec (over 4.11) and now when I drag the seek bar in WMP the last frame just flickers instead of actually seeking (showing frames from throughout the file). Is this consistent with other folks' results?

Not critical, but why would they break this in an update?

Interesting... I have exactly opposite situation. With 4.12 I have first time good seeking in WPM. But seeking in Bsplayer or MicroDVD was OK with earlier versions too.
