Date/Time on a separate code

Hi,

I have a Panasonic NV-DS33EG digital videocamera.
I have used Windows Movie Maker to capture the video in DV format, so far so good.
While capturing, I could see the date on the LCD screen of my video camera but when I re-watched the encoded DV file, the date had disappeared.:mad:
Browsing the user manual of my video camera, they say that the date/time are not recorded on the image directly but on a secondary separate code.
In fact, I can see the date/time on the LCD screen but not in the final DV.

Question:
Is there a way to get it into the DV?
Otherwise, is there a way to edit the DV and apply a date/time on a manual way?

If you want the time/date etc permanenty burned into the video of the captured DV, you can do that with our Enosoft DV Processor. It will do it *while capturing* - so there's no need to process the captured DV afterwards. It can also add timecode and camera details (shutter speed, white balance, aperture etc). And, if you need to, you can adjust the time/date - e.g., add one hour, set it to the computer's time etc.

apparently I lack "SSE2 instructions" in my system and cannot install the processor.

Is it because I am on a Pentium III?
Can I add them?

Well, after a quick investigation, I think there's not much I can do unless I change my MB.
Is there an alternative program you suggest to Enosoft DV Processor?

DVDate can add the date in the file after you transferred it in your computer. Drag the file in DVDate and press Ctrl+i. If you want more detalis, look in the settings.
