Here they are (http://ffdshow.faireal.net/mirror/Media%20Player%20Classic/external%20filters/x64//) some directshow filters for 64bits systems.

All in all, the question is : why do you need a x64 OS ?

why not
x64 is 100% imune against 32bit virues, its faster, and it can have more than 3GB RAM, new motherboards support 8GB becose of x64 edition
and yes x64 is the future to ALL new cpus have x64 including core 2 duo, first 64bit consumer cpu was the Opteron in 2003

Not to mention 64 bit encoder toolchain (avisynth +filters + x264) really do work faster... in fact, my experience suggests about 10-15% faster...

It's working fine for me with the vista codecs pack (install the 32bit & 64bit packages).

It includes ffdshow + x64 + fixes + registry tweaks + needed things to make everything work smoothly. It also gives you start menu entries to make it convenient to set the 32bit or 64bit media player as default whenever you want.

Don't forget to install the x64 components after the main 32bit package.

Edit: a good thing is that it's updated regularly with new ffdshow versions & fixes.
