I'm have an annoying issue with a MPEG2 TS (1080i) file. I can't skip time within the video. When I try to skip ahead, the slider just goes back to where I currently am in the video. Any particular reason for this, and is there anyway to get WMP11 to timeseek on these files? It works on other players, but I want to use WMP11 as it supports hardware acceleration through PureVideo.

Any ideas would be great :)

Some info:
"I talked to MS people and they told me that WMP (incl. WMP11) does not allow seeking with a source filter in push mode. Unfortunately push mode is the key to smooth TS playback, especially when there are continuity errors in the stream."

If you know something more, please post it.

I've tested a couple of files with WMP11 on WinXP using my splitter, and I can seek in them without any problems. My splitter is a source(push) filter.
