IFO EDit and Iriverter are compatible with Vista?

Make sure you run them under administrator privileges just in case. Right click on the executable and you'll see the option.

havent run all of them yet but so far, apart from a few weird things with deleting files, vista is more stable than XP sp2 for me (and i am still on the RC2!)

I tried Ripit4me, DeCryptor, Dvd Shrink, and Iriverter. All worked great.

Another question.......tried to install my copy of Nero 6 in Vista.
I got as far as a warning of compatibility issues and stopped.

Has anyone successfully installed Nero 6 in Vista?

Nero still isn't compatible with Vista (especially v.6) so you'll just have to wait or get another software...

newest nero works on the RC2 version. should be better on retail i would hope

Any one ever use ReadyBoost when doing their DVD backups/encoding? I was wondering how much performance increase it would have (if any), especially since I have my aging P4 desktop.

Nero still isn't compatible with Vista (especially v.6) so you'll just have to wait or get another software...

Nero from version 7.7 (or was it 7.5 ?) and up works with vista x86 and x64.

Just an FYI...I loaded Nero 6.6.0.8 OEM into Vista Home Premium off of the CD. It gives me an error message of possible compatibility problems when I go to burn.

I've ignored the message and burned several Dvd's to date without any problems. There may be some features that will give problems, but so far I've not experienced any.
