Hello all,

I'm using DVD-RB PRO 1.23.1 and made two backups. After DVD-RB rebuild was complete i imported them in pgcedit. Pgcedit shows me all kinds of serious errors:

Error 1000 checking ifo file type.
File "D/Temp/VIDEO_TS/VTS_10_0.IFO" is not of correct type DVDVIDEO-VTS

Error: could not open the VTS 10 IFO file.

Error in VMG_TT_SRPT table
The Title 10 is assigned to a non existing PGC(VTS99, PGC1)!

Do you want to remove Title 10 from the VMG_TT_SRPT table?

With the other movie i made a backup i get the same kind of error; Error in VMG_TT_SRPT table.

I never had these kind of errors before. I've made a lot of backups but this seems to happen since V1.23.1

I had the same sort of errors with SAW III R1.
Perhaps you could put the ripped DVD through PCGEDIT v8.0 first and use the DELETE Uncalled PGCs then use DVD RB.
That fixed it for me

Error 1000 checking ifo file type.
File "D/Temp/VIDEO_TS/VTS_10_0.IFO" is not of correct type DVDVIDEO-VTS That isn't related to DVD-RB -- that error just means the original IFO is corrupt. DVD-RB doesn't modify the IFO header ("DVDVIDEO-VTS"). It sounds like copy protection to me.

No doubt you are right, But when I did Saw III
I first checked it with PCGEDIT no errors where found, I rencocoded with DVD-RB 1.23.1 and checked it again with PCGEDIT it came up with those same errors.
This did not happen with 1.22.
It seems to have somthing to do with the way the dummy files are removed.

I think I know what is happening.

The new unreferencing routines in 1.23.x have discovered that VTS 99 is crap (which it is) and exclude it from the structure. Now, as every VTS must have a title, even bogus ones (although I saw one the other day which didn't!!!), the title in this VTS might somehow be excluded from the TT_SRPT table.

Perhaps the unreferencing routines in the new version need tweaking - or you can delete uncalled PGCs in PgcEdit first (note: this will take some time as this disk is extremely complex with 99 VTSs)

Regards

I really, really need the VIDEO_TS.IFO (and the others for that matter). They are small and can be zipped into a very small package for mailing ( dvd-rb@dvd-rb.com ).

Thanks for your reply's.

I mailed the IFO files which DVD-RB created.
