Hello guys, I have a problem with DVDs that the video has been encoded with CCE.

I use CCE SP2 (2.7). I encode an avi into an mpeg. Then I use DVD Lab pro to combile the video, sound and subs into a DVD. When I am trying to watch the DVD in my standalone DVD Player I encounter a strange problem.

The video is playing fine, but for example after five minutes it starts to go faster for only a few seconds. The sound doesn't go faster. The even stranger thing is that after these 5-10 seconds the video starts to play fine again and in sync with the sound. This problem repeats again after 5-10 minutes.

Is this a common problem or not? Does anyone knows if I can do anything to fix it? Thx.

Hi!When I am trying to watch the DVD in my standalone DVD Player I encounter a strange problem.Does the burned DVD exhibit the same behavior if you play it on your PC and/or a different standalone player?

I just checked the DVD in the PC and it appears to play fine. I checked two scenes that have problem in my standalone player and in the PC they play fine.

The I'd suggest that the problem is one of media/player compatibility - including the possibility that your burn speed should be lowered.

To determine the capabilities/limitations of your specific brand and model of standalone DVD player, as well as media compatibility, go to:

But why when encoding with TMPEng I don't have such problems?? I'll try to burn at 4x (cause until now I was using 8x).
