Which encoder will give me the fastest encodingspeed, or better, which one will use my E6600 to its fullest capacity ?

My CCE still doesnt seem to use 100% .

Not enough info. People want to help you, maybe you could provide some more details.:)

Well, which software will make the most out of my dualcore E6600?
CCE doesnt seem to be willing to use my both cores.

So i was wondering if there is an encoder that uses my E6600 to its fullest capacity.

Or eg. does ConvertXtoDVD use both cores ?

It depends on whether the bottleneck is in the encoder or the filtering, or even disk I/O. You'll have to explain further how you get your video into CCE and what options you encode with. If you're frameserving from avisynth, there's a good chance that's the problem. But depending on what's done, there are many possible bottlenecks.

Exactly. What is your procedure for encoding? Are you directly feeding CCE AVI files, or are you using Avisynth? If you're using Avisynth, please post your script. The bottleneck is coming from somewhere, and the more info we have, the more accurate our diagnosis and suggestions will be.
