1) Has anyone of you overwritten the content of a DVD-RW/DVD+RW/DVD-RAM medium AND been able to get at least some of the PREVIOUSLY present files in a good condition? What software would you recommend, please?

2) Would you please recommend the software for undoing the format of a rewritable DVD media?

Although I doubt that anything would be recoverable, you could try using ISOBuster...
