DTS ES Discrete 6.1 decoding to 6 mono Waves, Problem ?

Hi

I have a Question.
Via Forum Search i cant find a safe answer.

I have a DTS HD 6.1 (ES Discrete) Track

I want to reencode it to 5.1 768kbps DTS with Surcode or to a640kbps 5.1 AC3.

Is it a Problem to decode the DTS 6.1 to 6 mono waves with Tranzcode (or azidts/Intervideo) ?

Is the extra Rear Center Channel blending into SL SR while decoding without Problmes ?
Because DTS 6.1 is downward Compatible.

Or is the RC lost ?

A proper DTS decoder should automatically send the RC channel to RL and RR as in the specs.
