I'm needing to rip my audio CD collection to MP3 for my Zen Vission M. Nero seems to work pretty well, but since I have Nero installed on my desktop only and not on my portable, I'm looking for an all-around solution. This way I can put both computers to work at the same time and end up with consistent quality.

I would think that finding a CD ripping application would be a no-brainer, but I'm having a difficult time landing on a good one.

I will try using LAME (using Omni Encoder or perhaps BeLight) to convert the ripped files to MP3.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

EAC to rip.
LAME to encode.
Don't forget to setup EAC so it calls LAME so you get your MP3's already as a result from the CD ripping - no need to rip to WAV and then encode to MP3.
