Looking for a way to cut a mov clip. Can this be done in Virtualdubmod?

I believe so. Make sure you have QuickTIme Alternative installed.

Which one of us are you addressing?
If it's me, I was suggesting that INSTEAD of trying to use VirtualDubMOD (or VirtualDub), that you could use QuickTime Professional...

Use avidemux; you absolutely can't load mov or mp4 into virtualdubmod. You can only load a recent mpeg-4 (sp or avc) mov into avidemux, as well. Otherwise, quicktime, imovie, or final cut pro is your only choice. There are certain lossless mov-to-avi tools that work with old mov video codecs, also. But if it's svq3 and ffdshow doesn't work, it probably just won't work.

imovie, or final cut proI'd just point out that those two programs are Mac-only...
