vcd galaxy

Hi to all I have just ripped a movie using vcd galaxy dvdrip combo pack v2.7.I now have a movie file but what burning software will go with this ?I have nero 5.5 but that doesn't recognize the movie file.The file ends in moviefile(mpeg)Please help somebody before I crack up

You might need to convert it to video-cd format mpg. It is probably in 'system' format mpg. I think there are a few ways of doing this. Probably the easiest is using tmpgenc. Go to file, then mpeg tools. then open your movie file, and make sure you select (at the top of the mpeg tools screen) video-cd. Then run. That should do it.
