AutoGK new features request

Len0x, if you have time please consider the following two features to be built into AutoGK:

- volume adjustment for MP3
- x264 support

Some DVDs have very low audio levels or high dynamic range so some sort of volume adjustment or normalization would be great.

x264 can be vfw version to minimize programming effort (VDub procedure stays the same, only compression data is different).

Otherwise I like it a lot. Saves my time and creates good backups of my DVDs.

as you already know, the official development of autogk is ended

but

1) the audio is already normalized, so if after the normalization the volume is low, use ffdshow audio decoder to apply more gain
2) x264 vfw is BAD ! is an ugly hack, is used only by someone that don't know how bad and stupid is (just fyi read the sticky on mpeg4 avc forum)

3) there are some other gui that support x264.EXE

Didn't know that. I assumed it is still in development since the last version came out a bit more than 2 months ago.

it was just a suggestion to minimize programming effort.

But anyway thanks for opening my eyes about AutoMKV. Since I don't regulary visit this forum I was unaware of it. I will give it a try.

where can i get AutoMKV x264 guide
i dont know anything about x264 or AutoMKV
until now i ma using AutoGK i dont have to do anything it that
i had downloaded the AutoMKV software but now i dont understand how to do it
