Media Player Classic (MPC)

When I right click on the playlist and check shuffle....it doesn't seem to do anything. The tracks still play in order. I don't want to use randomize. Does shuffle not do anything in MPC?

Also, is it possible to implement crossfading in MPC? Or is the way mpc is built does it not allow for it?
