Hi, I recently ordered a film I wanted to see, but it was only available in pal region 2 format, and i live in north america; and so I need to find a way to convert from that to NTSC Region 1.
I know how to change the region specification, but i do not know how (if it's possible) to convert from PAL to NTSC without bringing it into a video editor or something, which would take a long time to render out and then retranscode, and would just be an unnecessary pain.
So is there some way (such as with ifoedit or vobedit or one of those programs) to change the format, or would i have to go and manually do it (losing subtitle and chapter information, as well as quality)?
