I keep GordianKnot installed because it's still a great tool to have if you want to figure out what to put in a script for XviD / SVCD resizing.

Are there any other applications around that solely do that? Help with resizing and script generation?

FitCD never gave me good results... maybe that was my fault but with the 100 options in its config it's a bit daunting.
