I am slowly but surely getting my ancient head round this minefield of backing up my dvd's and am beginning to realise that "one button press" is not the answer.
Consequently I need to further batter this head with information about stripping/blanking unwanted information from dvd's.
Currently I use Rip4me and DVDShrink and whilst this combination works admirably, I still find some unwanted material on the rip.
Please advise on other software applications which can help clear out unwanted titles etc.
Cheers

Hi-
VobBlanker to identify it and get rid of it entirely; PGCEdit to identify it and skip over it:

Hi-
I could be wrong, but I believe it's pretty tricky. I expect PGCEdit can do it if you know how to edit the navigation commands. Someone else is sure to know more about that than I. One way to do it, but the program costs money, is by using DVDRemake Pro. There's even a guide explaining how to do it:

Maybe, if you don't have to actually play the DVD while it's split, you can just split it in half and burn as a data disc and not as a DVD. You might ask in the DVD Authoring Forum.
