Hi

I have DVD2SVCD version 1.2.3 build1 and using CCE 2.5 and
D2SRoBa v 3.80 (that I downloaded yesterday to try it out)
Using the D2SRoBa the progress hangs just at the end when
it should start the DVD Author The newer version of DVD2SVCD
that I got yesterday says it has an author in there (version 0.6.11)
The Error message I get in the end (in a textfile) is
Error opening C:\Documents and Settings
My Videos\MPlex_Muxed_File00.mpg: No such file or directory

Somehow it cannot start the author. Is there a dvd author
included in DVD2SVCD (my version) ? I had an older version
before and edited everything in TMPGEnc DVD Author (which I
still have) Shall I point to that one instead in my setup in
DVD2SVCD

Sorry if these Q's sounds stupid. I haven't done this in a long
time and have forgotten how it's done

Thanks for your time
Nik

:thanks:

Hi.

To be honest it is difficult without seeing your logfile to determine what is happening.

At a guess, you are converting an AVI file to DVD and you have "Do Not Convert Audio (Use Source Audio)" checked in the audio tab.

If this is the case, uncheck it and try again. More detail on this problem is available in the sticky titled "DVD2SVCD Problems specific to AVI input". If this is not the case, please read the sticky titled "README's - Please DO NOT MAKE A POST until you have read these." for info on how to structure a good post to present all the necessary info to troubleshoot your problem.

In any event, pointing DVD2SVCD to TMPGEnc DVD Author will not work. If you wish to use this software you have to do so manually like you did with the old version of DVD2SVCD you had.

Cheers
Nick

I'd suggest installing the MuxMan authoring plugin by Sir Didymus found in the sticky Plugins thread. This plugin works well for me.
