MEGUI audio encoding shows less detail.

In Megui when i encode audio(say in any format) why does the progress bar and data doesn't show anything during the firstpass ? it seems like megui is not responding, but works fine during the second pass.
Another question -- suppose i want to encode mp3 in CBR mode megui still makes a first pass why ? :confused:

If I should guess, maybe it calculates the gain if you selected "Increase Volume Automatically".

^ ^ Thanks :) it did not make the first pass when i turned off the "increase volume automatically" and "improve accuracy using 32bit....." option.
But what about the first pass statistics and progress bar when using vbr or abr. I have also noticed that statistics and p.bar does not show when muxing something to Avi container.
