I figured out how to cut black borders off of my avi files now using null transform, but I have one or two MPEG-1 video files that I would also like to crop, but I dont want to encode them to avi.
I know VDub won't output a .mpg file, but I have been reading about frameserving. After some reading I am totally lost. Can someone tell me what steps and or software I need to crop a MPEG-1 video without re-encoding?

I was having alot of problems using TMPGEnc to crop the video files. No matter what size i cropped them to I was still seeing black borders in my media player.
The problem is solved. The altered aspect ratio was causing the problem. I had to uncheck the box labeled "Keep aspect ratio" under the "Picture Resize" filter.
Thanks for your help. Its always one minor thing that causes so much frustration.
