Please, help me, I am desperate. Burning data DVD backups on LG GSA-4167B, 16x DVD-R discs, info below. Verify on, happens when verifying.

Pre-recorded Information:
Manufacturer ID: SONY16D1

Any clues?

Log sample:
E 00:15:57 Failed to read Sector 2052022 - Unrecovered Read Error

It means the drive can't read the disc.

Seeing as how it's just burnt it, that's obviously not a good sign.

Look for a firmware update, slow the write speed down and try to get some Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden discs instead of the Sony ones.

Lowered down the speed, data backup successfully burned and verified.
