Cannot get rid of critic voiceover

I ripped and burned Cinema Paradiso and then sent it back. When I played it, the critic's voiceover overlay is the default with no apparent toggle to turn it off. This happened to me a couple of years ago with Kaspar Hauser, but I can't for the life of me remember how to burn a version that does not have the overlay.

Any suggestions?
