Hi.
I'd like to have my x264 files decoded with coreavc within Gom Player. (ie no need to tell me "use MPC" )
There's a "filter" submenu where I can add alternative filters but whatever I specifiy "custom" filters/change priority, it still plays files with its own Gretec video filter (definitely slower than coreavc...)
any hints maybe ?
thanks

Moooooooovin' along to the playback forum first.
Very interesting player, I wonder where it's been all my life. It's like the style of zoomplayer meets the built-inness of MPC. I'm going to have to spend some time with it and talk to the devs.
You need to look in prefs->others->codec, uncheck h264 all the way at the bottom, and then it should load with Core. I tested with it and ffdshow.
Edit: I can watch anime at 4x speed! looooooooool. ^___^ Subtitle capability is closer to ffdshow's than MPC's though, even if the control panel is an MPC clone.

Too bad the internal splitters cannot be disabled.

It is possible but out of control and rather similar to The KMPlayer than MPC.
