problem playing .mkv and .ts files

hello there ......i dowmloaded this video from a stite , here is the detail abt the video....

and i downloaded one video of shakira too ..the file was in .ts and it was 600 mb long

after downloading all these videos , everytime i tried to play these videos on my pc ..this error came
and my computer hanged........

someone told me to insatll all these to play these video noramally .......

i installed all these players and now my these files are ......matroska file

they all appear like this when i see them in the folders.........

i really don't know wts the problem why my comp hangs while playing these files......and how will i able to play these fliles properly
so plzz help me out and tell me wts the problem...the only reason i can find for these files is that they are of grt resolution and my computer doesn't support such a high resolution
thats why it hangs evrytime and display driver stopped responding coz i can play . vob files properly and all other fiels except these files.
