View Full Version : unwanted resize when using 720 as target

Hi everybody,
I'm sorry to bug you... I tried to search around, but I didn't find any information about my problem...

I recently started to archive my mini dv tapes using AutoGK with constant quality and setting the resolution to 720.

Videos in minidv have a resolution of 720*576, but my videos compressed with AutoGK are 720*544. Why?

I thought that maybe AutoGK cropped something and then resized... so I tuned auto crop parameters with Threshold to 0, but the video is always resized to 720*544.

How can I avoid the resize to keep everything of my original video?

Thanks a lot!

i suppose that for keeping better aspect ratio it will resize to 720*544

Hi,

In the hidden options (Ctrl/F9), you need to
1/ uncheck "Detect and force 4:3 ..."
2/ and/or check "Override input AR" and "Original"
