Hello,

I didn't see this issue on the FAQ page
http://www.jdobbs.com/Pages/DVDRebuilder/FAQ.htm
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=74273

CCE SP2 1.0 is newer than SP 2.7 and not SP 2.7.

I tried DVD-RB, but I didn't see any option for CCE SP2 1.0, just for CCE SP 2.7.

Does that mean DVD-RB don't support CCE SP2 1.0?

When I looking for CCE SP 2.7 on the internet to buy, but I only see crack version of it. I don't want to use it, it's not a good thing to do, and may be buggy, no support.

I accessed Cinemacraft today, they only sell CCE SP2 1.0 and discontinued to sell CCE SP 2.7.

Help

Help

Jdobbs has done an excellent job supporting Full line of CCE.
CCE SP2 is supported just try CCE Sp2 Trial beta test after installation. Just select regular cce support in installation. then select CCESP2 Trial beta test when you run it for the first time. There's a version

Cinema Craft Encoder Basic (Download)
Only: $58.00
Fast, production level software MPEG-1/-2 encoder for the non-linear editor. AVI and QuickTime files quickly compressed to high quality, MPEG-1 for CD-ROM/ internet or MPEG-2 for DVD. Constant Bitrate (CBR) and Variable Bitrate (VBR) encoding, inverse 3:2 pulldown and much more! Plug-in for Premiere. Try Before You Buy!

CCE SP has been discontinued. Which means you wont get any new upgrade version if you invest in it.
2007.1.15 [MON] : Discontinuation of CCE-SP.

Help

CCE SP2 is the newest ver from Cinema Craft. CCE SP has been discontinued. DVD-RB Pro supports CCE SP2 and automatically recognize it being installed if (I believe) it was installed in the default dir. I don't believe DVD-RB Free has support for CCE SP2 yet.

Like ruedas said, Cinema Craft Encoder Basic is $58 and work very well with DVD-RB... and if I remember correctly is one of the main reason why jdobbs design and built DVD-RB.

But as good as HC Encoder and QuEnc are... there no really good reason to purchase any encoder.
