What are XP users using for DivX play back?

Hello
Please don't jump me Mr. Doom9. I did look around.

On 98 I used the old Windows player, not WMP 7. I have never needed or used a "DivX player".
So, now I have XP & WMP 8. I did see a doom artical on setting up WMP 8 for DivX play back. Is this the best way and will it play back Suround good, or are XP users using other DivX players.

Also could some one point me to Dooms XP artical. Thanks guys. :)

just search for 'mplayer2.exe' or look for it in program files/windows media player.

Why don't you give Zoom Player a try? This little program is just incredible and will even play your DVDs!

Ya XP includes also older 6.4 version of WMP. I think it's much better than Micro$ofts latest candy WMP8.

I use BSPlayer tough.
